  1. CP SP series or Mapex Venus series for metal?

    Getting a starter kit and these are my 2 cheapest options. Will be used for metal style drumming. Both have only the shell pack so no hardware/cymbals.

    Which would suit me and sound better to you?...

    Have considered this, there is actual a Mapex Venus shell kit local for $150. Could probably talk him down.

    Then buy some $500 double kick pedals, good snare and some cymbals :icon_lol:
