Go with the cutting kit...it's a super clean cut and this will keep it from ripping later. It's cheap. better than having to buy a new $35 head.

Going with trick is a great thought but they are quite expensive.
most pedal manufactures will make conversion kits, but you need to know that if you do that you void the warranty that comes with the pedal (if it's not used).

Aquarian does do a package set, I believe it's for the superkick I and the reso will have a cut...
My bubinga snare is buzzing a lot more than my other snares. I am wondering if it could be the straps that are holding the snares in place that are causing it to rattle so much. They are fabric...
