  4. Re: Playing single paradiddle with a triplet feel with practice pad

Maybe if I split up the groupings, using a double para-diddle as an example...if I played it as...RLR,LRR,LRL,RLL.....played slow, would that get me to the triplet feel? Not sure if I am asking the...
  5. Re: Playing single paradiddle with a triplet feel with practice pad

I agree 100% about slow and easy. How do I count double strokes as triplets?.Is my counting of paradiddle-diddle correct.....(RL(1),RR(2),LL(3)...RLRRLL(1,2,3,)?...also how do I train my brain to...
  6. Re: Playing single paradiddle with a triplet feel with practice pad

  9. Re: Playing single paradiddle with a triplet feel with practice pad

    Sounds to me that...
  10. Re: Playing single paradiddle with a triplet feel with practice pad

Thanks for posting that linky, but those note markings and values mean basically nothing to me,other than a 1/8 note is twice as fast as a 1/4 note, etc.:)
I thought maybe there was something easier...
  11. Playing single paradiddle with a triplet feel with practice pad

    Hi:
I have watched a few videos, specifically regarding playing a single paradiddle with a triplet feel.

Re: I want acoustic drums...wife says NO!

That is a good idea, but the houses are too close together, plus heating/cooling and insulating it would be a bit much,I would think, but thanks for the idea!. Huck.

My wife just recently retired from working in a noisy factory for 35 years,so I can sort of see why she would want some quiet. She is home pretty well 24/7.Thanks,Huck

Re: Roland TD-9KX(SX) or DTXtreme III Standard

Hi: I think the pad sizes are larger on the DTXtreme III ,as opposed to Roland's smaller pads.I think the Roland has 10"snare and 8.5" toms, but these sizes may be larger when moving up to the TD-20,...
