lol yeah no kiddin, Kansas to Virginia. That was a long drive :icon_lol: But I'm pretty sure I might be drum captain next year, but who knows
stop bragging, the only reason it's like this is because I had to move during the middle of my high school year's =/
Well at least you get to play them, I don't till next year when he graduates.
And It's funny to watch band geeks fight, great entertainment!
Did you mean picky, or did you really mean oicky?? JK, don't think I'm a jerk, cause I'm not, I was just stating my view on something....
Anyway, about timpani, yeah, I don't get to play them at...
Hey I thought this tread was for timpani talk, not about relationships =P
Neways, I love playing timpani and I've played timpani for district band for 3 years in a row now!! (freshman-junior...
I've lost track of how many bands and honor bands I've played in :icon_eek: but yes I play in the symphonic band at school.
that's a very hard question there pikpoket. And I've never heard of fandango actually. Have you heard of afta stuba (sequal to stubernic [sorry if I butchured that])???? That's a sweet marimba...

sorry to hear that carl, it probably wasn't meant to be.
One question though. What does this have to do with marching band???? xP
There's a couple embarrising moments.
First, my freshman year, the head on one of my mallets popped off at the end of a song and flew into the audiance. (xylophone mallet =P)
My sophomore...
I have to say its more skill than luck. If anything at least. I practice a lot, so I'm always prepared to audition.
And to answer your question Timpanist, I've never dated anyone in band before....
Ah, sorry to hear that. I've made District band on timpani for 3 years in a row now, last year I was eligible to try out for state, but didn't make it. But this year I might. =P
note changes are easy for me now =P and they're a lot of fun to do. It's always fun to play timpani for district band =P
I've broken several pairs of marching sticks, and a few mallets too. One of my mallets broke during a concert at the end of the song xD
It is fun to play Marching Snare :icon_mrgreen: but it's also fun to play timpani too, but I'd rather play for concert band, than marching band on timpani.
I mean both mallets in marimba, xylaphone, and vibes, and mallets for cymbals and drums. They're just fun to use
And thanks for saying I rock bongobro =P
I go to James Wood High in VA. :icon_mrgreen:
because they're fun :shifty: well to me anyway.
I'm a girl drummer woot :icon_mrgreen: been playing since 5th grade and ever since I started playing I'm usually the only girl drummer :icon_eek:
