Re: Gretsch USA Custom v Gretsch '57 Renown

    Rich,

As a wood worker for 20 + years....we buy plywood in various grades. The best grades DO NOT HAVE VOIDS. There is no filler in them to correct imperfections as the veneers used are not...

Re: Gretsch USA Custom v Gretsch '57 Renown

    Hey Late8

That was a great video. You can see where a human error can happen on the shaper table pretty easy, just pick the drum up or place it down onto the bit instead of bringing it into the...

Re: Gretsch USA Custom v Gretsch '57 Renown

    Hey Late8,

If you have any dents it will be harder repair. Are...

    Re: Am I being dumb?

Well< I bought my set of drums at Christmas time, first set in 20 years and did a lot of research. I was able to purchase a set of Gretsch Renown 57 series drums for $1200 for a full 5 piece kit. ...
  9. Re: Scoring a rarity... a RIMS Purecussion Headset for...wait for it...see story belo

Here is a pic of the back side. Beside the classic Tama Camco pedal you can see the damper I have. I found this to be great to get a better sound from the bass with less "boing" sound. Have it...

Re: RUSH inducted R&R Hall of Fame

I'll just put this out there:

Rush as a creative group are amazing and they still have the chops to back their creativity when playing live. Judging by Geddy's vocals, I could see the band retire...
