That's a really nice kit JayW! My kit was originally going to be that color but my local dealer gave me a cheaper price for an amber kit that was in his shop already.

"Amber Monster" because it's amber, and it's huge! rofl
What I have so far

DW EQ 14x6.5
DW Edge 24k SS 14x6.5
DW SS 14x5.5 3/4" thick
DW Brass 14x6.5
Rocketshells carbon fiber...
I have a 22x8 case from Protection Racket. They are the only company I am aware of that makes cases for the DW woofer. It's not a hard plastic case, but protection none the less.
I'd be interested with the first design. Second about having a design contest though!
I honestly don't know what I am. One year I'm all Evans, the next year Remo, and vice versa. But if I happen to fall on a Evans year, it's all EC2/G1 on toms, G1/Hazy 300 snare, EQ3 on bass.
I bet May would be jealous too =D
You could lose your vision staring at that for too long O_O
That's awkward, I have 9k bass pedals but still using 5k remote. I seriously need to trade up that remote!
35 cymbals ranging from K custom, A custom, Z custom and Effects not counting the hi hat as 2... don't make me list them please D=
I personally use Sennheiser HD280 as well. Excellent build quality, sound and isolation. I've tried some of the other headsets listed, and having a big head, a lot of them are not very comfortable...
Is it just me or is that bass drum reversed?
They work to an extent. If they just surround, then you could have a problem of it projecting up and still having a lot of cymbal noise escaping. It does dampen any forward moving waves...
When you reinstall your snares, make sure that the strainer is lowered a few turns before it falls out. That should give you move than ample room to adjust the snares to your liking.
How much you wanna buy it for =3
Mapex 14x6 Aluminum Black Panther (I'll eventually switch this out for DW's equivalent)
DW 13x6 10+6 Maple
DW 14x6 Brass
Rocket Shells 14x4 Carbon Fiber
PDP 10x6 Popcorn Snare (wish there was a...
Pikachuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!
It's called free floating because there is no hardware attached to the shell itself. Snare strainer and lugs are attached directly to the rims.
Hmm, seems a call to my DW/PDP dealer is in order :icon_eek:
I'd hate to wrap my legs around that spike snare xD.
I like Bozzio's kit, it's definitely an art piece by itself. Anyone besides Terry on that kit is pointless. His painstaking endeavors in...
Gotta love those Dave Weckl sticks, it's my primary sticks in the bag as well. I'm playing with 2 side snares at the same time and it's really fun what kind of sounds you get. For the most part it...
That's so beautiful bish! You should use a strong flashlight to show that beautiful sparkle. I keep the stickers on my pedals as well, but I keep mine on because I tend to slide a lot when playing....
I'll say. If it sounds good to you, go for it! Every set has it's own unique sound.
Sry about the late response Pastor B, so busy lately. For the most part I'm very conservative as far as a setup in church goes. It's 12" 13" 16" toms, 16x22 bass with the black panther snare. 16"A...
I have a Black Panther aluminum 14x6 that I play with on the Pearl set at my church. Was one of the first snares I fell in love with. It has some overtones, but they are a good solid snare.
