Please don't spell his name wrong...It's Peart, not Pert.
Best rock drummer ?....Neil Peart....without a doubt.
Your paradiddle strokes need to be all equally spaced notes. For example 16th notes. If you are practicing on a snare drum or a practice pad, it's easy to pick up speed, because of the "rebound", but...
Knows Jesus is very cool...So do I.
Brushes...You'll love 'em. Blastics will do the job, but brushes are a whole new way of playing...try it. It will open up a new world to your instrument.
Should we charge at the door, or just let DRUMCHAT pay for all the beer the band drinks? I'm fine either way.
My first kit was Slingerland...then I got turned onto Pearl, and have played that brand for over 20 years. Always gloss black...love 'em !
Or a house in the country.

Good job Road...you get the gold star !
Come on...You guys are musicians. You must have seen this movie I just quoted !

"These were first, and only drafts of music...Yet they showed no corrections of any kind! As if he were just taking dictation. This was no composition by a performing monkey. This was the very...
This is not a serious question is it ? Without a doubt, the best drummer to ever sit behind a kit is Buddy Rich. If you don't agree ...it's because you have not heard him play, and have been...
I've used Pearl for 20 years. I've owned a few sets and love them. The drums sound great and the hardware is very tuff stuff.
I've been using Regal Tip 5B nylons forever. I can't imagine playing with another stick (though I've tried them all). I do use a 3B on the practice pad for the added weight.
Nope...close , but no cigar.
