The warranty thing shouldn't matter as much... it's not a car with moving parts. I've had kits since the mid 70's... I've never needed a warranty on any of them... I had a Ludwig 9 pc Rockers kit...
Sounds great to me... I like that kick sound.
Thanks, Bro! Don't want to be misleading... the others mentioned are bands that Roy has played for.
Our guitarist is Michael Phillips (Deliverance, Fasedown), Vocalist is Eli Prinsen, Bassist is...
1 more... this one features a Roy Z (Rob Halford, Bruce D!ckenson, Rob Rock, Driver, Tribe of Gypsies).

You know, some of us actually like those "over-sized gaudy lugs"... :shhh:
I like the lugs... I also liked the Plat lugs as well... :dontknow:
You've definitely got the entry level PDP kit. Not sure on the wood, but I doubt that it's poplar. What did GC advertise it as? PDP only put those lugs on the entry level kits... I doubt PDP even...
All DW's have a tag that says retail... no one ever charges that! You also have to take into count that this is a exotic wood kit... these kits are amazing to just look at, like a piece of art... you...
Easily 6K new... if not more!
Thanks for the kind words, guys!
Russ, the ride is a 20" Zildjian "Ping Ride"...
The label just released a song from our upcoming album "III"... if you like American Power Metal with blistering guitar solos, lots of double bass and high vocals... give it a listen:

Maple flavor? :dancing:
I LOVE that color... I almost bought a collectors series in that color a few years back, but it sold before I was able to pull the trigger! :icon_wink:
So, how do they sound thus far?
I agree... the rest is simply "personal preference" for the most part.
lol...
Very nice set up!
Well worth the wait! ;)
It seems like just yesterday that you ordered them... ;)
Glad you finally got them... I'm sure it was worth the wait in the end! Looking forward to some pics!
Very nice... congrats!
You're welcome! :drumset-3:
I thought this one was interesting... the guy starts off with a mid range tuning... then tunes higher... then tunes lower! Shows how they will sound with different tunings....
I've heard a few videos of them being played and liked the sound... this one video in question, just sounds like it's tuned too high for my taste. Here's a interesting video of them comparing the PDP...
