Very nice! My daughter would love those, but for now she'll have to stick with her Sonar Martinis.

    Re: DW drums being "Overpriced"

I didn't realize there were other drums besides DW until I read this thread! Haha

I have my fourth DW kit on its way, so I have to say I'm a fan. Why change if you're happy with something.

Re: Which wood type to go with

Impulse buy. Don't have room for 6 kits so one needs to go. Besides that, no other reason. It's a beautiful and excellent sounding kit.

Re: Which wood type to go with

Make a quick drive over to Houston and visit Cymbalfusion.com on the west beltway. They have a lot of kits you can hear. I purchased my maple/mahogany DW collector's kit there almost a year ago. They...

I got one of these for my boy's 2nd birthday recently. The kit is awesome and I may actually play it more than him! haha. Sounds great and excellent for any level of player.

Just picked me up a demo MDD single pedal for an excellent price. It's in the mail. Can't wait! Anyone else out there using one?

Re: Who do think makes best hardware?

I use DW exclusively. I have both the heavy as heck 9000 series hardware as well as 6000 series setup so I won't break my back every time. They have so many accessories for anything that anyone would...
