You have to situate the shop in the right place as well. and be prepared to do online sales. It's no good setting up in Chumley Warterton with a population of 250, all of which are over 75!
Gaffer tape will do it, an old sock inside will do it, and remember it is a hell of a lot easier to dampen a sound down rather than brighten it up.
