He's been talking about this for quite a while.
A lot of people probably don't know who she is. She is older than us.
"My second wife". Some heads are worth fixin', some maybe not.
I've never tuned both heads to the same tension. Might be a little ringy.
After you play around with that DialTune let us know what you think of it. I've been thinking of getting one. About ten years after you got your Ludwigs I got my first " real" drums. Ludwig...
I see it Rick. I think the snares sound a little looser than usual.
Hey Rick, still says private
Tested the waters at a different open mic spot Weds. Played a few songs I didn't know with people I didn't know on someone else's drums. It was fun.
Glad you got it to work
Any 10.5 mm lock will work. Just snug the mount down on top of it.
The two other guys and myself play for fun, not the money. We are always on the look-out for a like minded keyboardist. We know keys would fill out the sound.
Thinking about pulling the trigger myself, but I'm kind of a cheapskate, so I was looking for opinions.
Does anybody here have a Dialtune snare? Does anybody know much about them? They seem to be pretty cool, but are they any good? Appreciate any input.
Welcome back to the flock.
Me, being a cheapskate, finally purchased my 'dream' ride Cymbal. I found a Sabian HHX Groove Ride for under $250. Loving it right now.
Dixon makes one that mounts on a bass drum hoop.
Looks like the hoops are real low. Kinda like on conga drums.
Don't know for certain but I've seen pictures of him playing Davoli drums. They were kind of weird too.
Yeah, I know how that goes. I just jam in my basement with friends or hit a jam night or open mic night somewhere.
Sounds really good.
That looks like it would be fun to play with.
If you have an Iphone voice memo is on utilities
I just use Voice Memo on my phone. It's less complicated.
If I had some time with them, I wouldn't want to shuffle too fast.
I have a Luddy Blackrolite, from the 90's I guess, all original same old heads. I play it regularly. Sounds great.
