Re: Queen - Don't Stop Me Now - Drum Cover

Great stuff Zack. Your drums/cymbals overall sound more muted this time. What did you do differently? I'm thinking some kind of compression or something or maybe it happened in editing? Just curious.

Re: Afraid of learning Heel Up

Absolutely go with heel up. Listen to your teacher. I've been where you are. I switched from heel down to heel up when I was young. Heel down is not wrong, it's just limiting. If you plan on being an...

    Re: Count me in (Netflix)

I don't have Netflix. Was this as one time thing or is it a series?
  10. Re: How much is to much?! Gigging in one weekend that is...

  11. Re: Played the grand opening of a new venue last night

Very cool. Lots of room on stage too!

Playing in that degree of heat is tough on anyone at any age. But if your hands are bleeding, I would suggest lightening up your playing a bit and letting the mics do the work, especially when you...

Re: which should I get and why?

I don't really keep up with the stats on drumsets like some guys do but I can offer some input on this. Go with what sounds good and feels good to you first. You can then always find a color and...

    Re: Charlie Watts passes away

I'm happy that you used the phrase "passes away". I grew up in a generation that never used the word "dead". I believe because it just sounds so cold and insensitive. But nowadays, it seems it's the...

    1. Try Canva
    2. One of the old standards that everyone knows like Mustang Sally or something easy that doesn't take any thought. You want your attention to be on the mix, not on the song.
