I’ve got a custom built Slingerland snare and a Mapex Exterminator snare I’m going to switch between for now. I plan on saving up to get a Black Panther snare to use with it.

Our band was hired to play Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort on the weekend of the Arkansas Derby - or the busiest weekend of the year at the venue. We headlined Friday and Saturday nights.

No. That was a casino gig so I used it as an extra measure. There is one smaller place other than casino gigs that I’ll use it at to help with volume control.

This is the kit I got in January. We’ve had a couple of recent shows and it has done very well for me.
