    Lesson learned! :icon_eek:

It's not a PS3, but it's coated and it matches my other heads!! :icon_mrgreen:

I know my setup's a little weird, but so far I'm liking it there!

    Re: Your Dogs

This is Duke, my 170 lb English Mastiff. As you can see, he likes to fall asleep in front of my bass drum. :icon_lol:

Re: Oops! What should I have looked for?

I've already bought an Evans Onyx for it, though I wont have time to put it on until next month. I liked the sound I was getting out of the original head so I hope I don't lose too much of the...

Re: Oops! What should I have looked for?

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I didn't think I was hitting it too hard, but all of my other batters are Evens Hydraulics or Onyxes so I guess it's all relative. I was going to replace it soon...

    Re: It's Alive! It's ALIIIIIVE!!!

As far as I can tell it was a completely original Ludwig set. The heads that were on there were Ludwig Weather Masters. Every part of the kit I purchased was Ludwig except for the cymbals.

    Re: It's Alive! It's ALIIIIIVE!!!

Just moved to Clay Center, Kansas. Willing to travel some for lessons, the hard part is my schedule. I work a 48-on, 48-off schedule so there is not a whole lot of regularity to my days off.

    Re: It's Alive! It's ALIIIIIVE!!!

Finally the pics. As you can see from the kick drum, putting the black heads on both sides makes a big difference in the depth of the blue. I am loving the way that kick looks!
