Here are the bongos.
Here are the bongos.
My school has those, I really like 'em
Hold on, I got a little mixed up In the LP line all the drums except the Aspires :11" Quinto, 11 3/4" Conga and 12 1/2" Tumba. Some are 30" high and some are 28" high. I believe the ones in your pic to be 30" high. I like my three drums but If I had two I'd like the combo you've got there, the quinto and tumba combo. some people prefer the conga/ tumba combo. Once again BongoCajon Nice! Have fun, I bet they'll sound great!

I have the quinto/conga combo and if I can have only 2 I prefer those cause Ilike the ability to get the higher stuff with he quinto. I sure would love to have a tumba to round it out though.
Wow, that's a very nice finish.
Congratulations

Sweet man.
I used to have some LP conga that looked like the ones in your avatar. I shoulda never sold them.
They had that same light finish with the black hardware and each drum hung on opposite sides of a tripod. They were really nice.

Sweet. Those are the same drums I have, finish and all. Matadors in Almond Brown. My set is 11, 11.75, 12.5 +bongos. I have had them for at least 12 years and they still sound great (even with a crack/burn in the conga). I got a set of fiberglass Pearls recently and am hugely disappointed with their sound. I tried to get rid of them on cragslist cheap and had no interest at all.
I know this is going to sound stupid.
But can you put some regular drumheads on those and put them on your kit and play it with sticks? If so, do they sound good?

I've played Matadors like those for several years at my buddy's drum shop...until someone bought them out from under me...someone on the French Riviera!
Those Matadors rocked, bro'! Always sounded awesome no matter how you played them...the name is appropriate, BC--they're "killer" drums!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!
