IMO they make the best harware out there...Drums to, but I'm a bit of Yamaha nut with 4 of their kits. Now to find some $$$ for my 5th ..Phoenix
I purchased two Yamaha 900 Series (CS 965 I Believe) in December 2008, and have been very impressed with them.
They are heavy duty and double braced and can raise to a tall height. They come with two memory locks for extra security. The boom arm has a medium length but is strong and sturdy. Mounted on them at home is a 20" Zildjian ZBT Ride (Quite a heavy cymbal) and a 16" Zildjian ZBT Crash (Light Weight). The stand for the ride does not wobble even a fraction and stays still perfectly. The titler allows you to tilt it just about anywhere which is good for placement in tight areas. I am very impressed with them, and when a friend brought over his big 24" Paiste ride (Might have been a 2002) which was heavy, the stand still didn't wobble a tiny bit.
They also convert back to straight stands and are equally as strong like that. I originally had my ride straight but recently slightly boomed it for easier reach. Very impressed. They also come with some nice felts and wing nuts.
These are slightly lighter than the Pearl BC-900, the rival to the Yammies in the price range.
Behind it is a ZBT Crash which is also mounted on the Yammies.
