I prefer the Alpha series. They cost a little less and sound oh so good!

Nice, but a bit expensive, and the only cymbals I've ever broken.

Classic stuff. Although I play Zildjian, which I love and I'm very content with, I would switch to Paiste if I had to start over again, especially the Signatures. Just test drove a 24" 2002 ride. Pretty awesome.

2002's are nice all around the kit for many purposes. I'd prefer a 2002 ride for crashing or metal over any other line.

I used Paiste 2oo2 Cymbals from 1979 to 2004. The same ones. I sold them because I was afraid they were getting old. Wished I had not done that. Since 2001, Ive used Paiste Signatures, that I really liked, had a great set, and sold them when we refied the house because I needed the money. Paiste Traditionals, that I didnt really like that well. Zildjian K Customs..... those were sweet. And I sold them a year ago (wish I hadnt done that either) to pay for the 2oo2s that I am currently using. I love the 2oo2 sound. Wish I still had those K Customs also.

Let me assure you, Bonham used 2002's for a reason.
