The swish knocker has a china-like recurve at the edge and 20 rivets. They don't say A Custom, but have the same script A logo. It's a really cool sound.

Wow jajo. Those are some great great cymbals you picked up. I have a few myself, I love the shine of them and the overall tonality.

I would recommend the Zildjian A Avendis 21 sweet ride a nice versatile ride for any genre of music and affordable. K's are nicer but the price is almost double the A.

Thanks guys.I know now why I got those Zildjian ZBT`s so cheap. I`m glad they are hats instead of stand alone cymbals, but I will be looking to upgrade when I can.

Oh THanks Pearl MCX man, Ive been intrested in the sweet Ride for awhile now, but everyone says its more of a country ride :S

    I'm purchasing this tonight

16" Z Custom Medium Rock Crash for £75.
Will polish it up and post a picture once I collect it. For the record, can anyone recommend a good way of polishing a cymbal? I NEED to keep the logo too! :D

I think Z series cymbals have always been hammered like that,
The current Z3 series have a similar hammering

    Definitely let you guys know

My buddy used to rock Z Customs. I was never a fan of them. But certainly, they have their place.

Sabian's would be my preference but I'm very low on money and a decent cymbal for £75 was an offer I couldn't resist. I haven't heard it at all but I guess unless your buying new around here you can't. From what I've heard on youtube it sounds pretty good.

Haven't actually bought it yet mind you so if anything pops up on ebay in the next half hour then I might change my mind haha

I dig the scale-like pattern on it, and the worn kinda look. I used to have a Z but it wasn't really for me cause of the excess of volume, so I ended up giving it to a friend. Not a bad cymbal though for the right kind of music.

Those pangs are lovely! When did they stop making them? How hard are they to come by? 6 rivets?

I ended up finding a 16" AAXplosion crash this evening on ebay and won it for £77 which I thought was a good deal seen as they retail for £224 (Even if that is a ridiculous RRP) Thought it would sit nicely with my other 19" AAXplosion

None of that stuff is mine, I just found a pic online. The rivets were added after-market I believe. If you are looking for one, the new Rezo is probably your best bet, as the old ones are going to be difficult to locate.

Very cool NIM. The smaller ones sounded better than the 13" imo.

I go to my local drum shop and purchase my sticks. I like to touch them before I buy them ;-)
