I've had a new K Zildjian Dark thin crash (16) for three weeks now and getting used to it.
It's almost too thin.................you don't strike this one hard...............a moderate hit sounds great.
Feels completely different from the medium-thin of the same size and series.
Gretsch USA & Zildjian(What Else Would I Ever Need ?)
so i think i have finished with my dream cymbal setup now
Same here did not know the made the K sweet. I do own and used for over 40 years a Vintage 70's 21 A ( Avedis) Sweet/Crash ride and love it.

You got yourself all tense over a opinion. As for "love to play this", your set isn't so totally different than mine. I have another floor tom that I sometimes put on my left with a 13" and 14" toms by it. My cymbals are A Customs except the 1's over the floor toms, 1 is a "A" 18" medium thin crash, the other is a Armand 18" medium thin crash. They are going over to my Pearl set when I get around to it.
Put a video up, I'd like to see you play them.

Rick's right, I don't think many people at a gig would notice at all if you're playing a expensive cymbal versus a cheap one. But also no one at a gig is going to care if you play a Mapex Venus over a DW Collectors, or play a Tama branded crash with a big crack in it instead of an A Custom. They only care if you play well, and even then a lot of people don't even recognise if you're playing well or not
But of course most of the nice gear we do buy and play, we only do so for ourselves. We want the nicest playing experience for ourselves, and that's different for every person. If you buy an instrument, you do so because you like the sound, or playability, or look, or price of it, regardless of what other people think. Everyone's opinion is valid on what they enjoy playing.

Thank goodness most people don’t judge by the equipment you play. I play Wuhans and a Sound Percussion kit on 90% of our gigs, LOL. As far as HOW you play, I’ve found that 80%-90% of the bar crowd is more concerned with WHAT you play than HOW you play. I’m always amazed when we absolutely nail a song....only to hear crickets chirping. Then we do an “OK” job on a cheesy song we hate and they cheer and yell and clap...

"Too many crappy used drum stuff to list"
Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham

That's why I only played in places where they sold booze.

Somewhere on a stage a cymbal is struck................
Inside a drummers brain: mmmm, explosive attack, dark, somewhat smoky shimmer with a quick decay!
Inside audiences brain: the drummer just hit one of those round shiny things!
all the best...
