Yeah nice, that looks great. I have yet to try any Meinl but I love Benny Greb so I know they make some great sounding cymbals.

What do you guys think of the "classics" series?
    - 1 medium hi-hat 14"
    - 1 medium crash 16"
    - 1 medium ride 22"
    - 1 Meinl carry case

$ 120 brand new, unopened box.

I know these cymbals usually go for alot more but I have no experience with them and never heard them, so what do you say? Thanks

Just scored a Amun 12" Splash second hand for £45. Sounds great, a lot brighter than my MB20 10 ". Attached using DW puppybone so minimal hardware required.

I have pics in my album. Can I attach these pics or do I need to use a photobucket account?

$120 for a complete set of any cymbals is a good deal, and the Classics are pretty good cymbals IMO.

The Meinl Classics are Meinl's midrange cymbal - they're equivalent to Sabian XS20s or Paiste Alphas (I don't know what the Zildjian midrange line is).

I would say that you take the deal. $120 for those cymbals is a steal.

Unfortunately someone got there before me, the very day I posted my question on here, after doing about half hour research on the internet I realised that it really was an amazing deal that I just had to take, oh well, I'll have to be quicker next time, thanks for the replies either way

    Hello guys.

I don't know if this the proper place to put this.
I recently purchased a ride, a crash and a hi-hat from Meinl Raker series, from a store here in Greece where had them in stock. I would like to buy some extra cymbals of these series, but Meinl has stopped production since 2005.
My question is simple, yet difficult to answer. Is there any store in US, that has Raker cymbals still in stock?
It would be impossible for me to check all the music/drum shops that has a website to search for them.
I am looking only for new cymbals.
If someone is selling a Raker cymbal on e-bay/amazon, I will give it a look.

The cymbals I am looking are:
    20" XL Medium ride
    16'' Medium crashm
    14'' XL medium crash
    8" splash
    16" china

    Thanks for any help

the new fusion soundcasters sound very sweet.

thinking of trading in my custom soundcaster medium hats for the byzance hats which seem to have more sizzle.
I play, Gretsch Catalina Birch, 7 piece in the vintage sunburst finish.
