Old Gon Bops New skin
Well I got the new cow on last night and I'm happy with the way it turned out. I serviced all the hardware but I decided not to refinish the shell do to its antique look which I think it gives it character is kinda cool. I did fill in some of the deep dents with a hot touch up crayon and wiped the whole thing down with Old English scratch remover dark oil which seemed to bring back it's original color. I'll probably hit it with the crayon in a few spots again but that's about it. I did see an old catalog which showed the lug plats and the rim as an option and the drum is from the early 1970s. Cant wait to play it.
