    Default Advice, Please?

    My band n i hav started now, just a couple weeks ago. The lead guitarist is great an the rhythm guitarist is pretty good, but we cant seem to find a bass player . Im just wonderin if anyone can give us advice before we do things like hit the road or start recording.

    Agreed, and DO YOUR RESEARCH! It's not that easy to go on a tour. Start with local shows and build from there.

    I would suggest talkbass.%$#, there are alot of bassist near you. Ever been to starved rock state park?(sorry off topic). I would start recording yourselves with a video cam so you can see what the crowd would see. And if possible get the rythem guitarist to play bass and have your lead guy pick up both parts until a bassist becomes avalible. Just an Idea. All the best, keep us posted

    dats my plan although theres no stage in town so the best place i can find is an italian restaraunt wit a good stage.

    An FT, our rhythm guitarist isnt dat easy to handle. ill try, but idk wat its gonna end up as...

    Good luck with the band , I agree with finding a bass player first before recording something .
