    Default base drum head help

Ok im going to purchase my first set of base drum heads today so I have a question or two.

Do they come 2 to a set?

Whats a good name to get and do I want a hole in the front or not?

    Thanks.

I tried the search threads for this but I keep getting an error when i type something in that box.

No worries. Usually they won't come as a set. It's up to you if you want a hole in the Reso head or not. If you are going to be putting a mic on it, then yes, you're going to want a hole. But if your not and you don't see yourself doing that in the future, the get one without the hole in it. That's the way drums were intended to be anyways. But that is the deciding factor for you man, mic? or no mic?

what type of music are you playing?? This could be a factor in what kind of head you should get.

Aquarian does do a package set, I believe it's for the superkick I and the reso will have a cut out.

I personally love the aquarian superkick II..great low end!!

Wow what a difference, what I really like is that it needs
No dampening material like a pillow or blanket.you get that great sound
    Without that,it's amazing.

Evens also sell as matched set that includes a pillow. I pick one up and I love it. I play Blues and Classic rock with that kit and it sounds great. I hope this is nor considered a commercial link.
