can u paint ur drums without wearing dem down? I mean, if u paint da drums, iz dere a way so dat u do it, but they dont break?

You can paint drums, and it probably won't do any damage. However, it's probably not going to hold. If you paint over lacquer particularly, but even a wrap finish. The paint will chip, scratch, and flake off very easily.

You might try rockenwraps. They aren't cheap, but they are non-permanent coverings.
