Timp, as much as it is a virtue to have a large number of posts by your name, Spamming a thread with useless replies will not make people respect you more.
And it won't wake anyone up either.
At least try to have some substance when you post. Otherwise your post count really means nothing at all.

I love playing timpani. When I first got into university ensembles, you couldn't keep me off of them. I think I'd be a better player now, though, after also having played electric bass since my ears are more adjusted to low frequencies.
I need to get new mallets. Last night after orchestra rehearsal, I was noticing that my medium-hard mallets are looking raggedy. I do tend to use them the most.
By the way, what mallets do you all like to use? I have a full concert set of Vic Firth mallets in black (6 graded pairs), and then I also have an effects mallet set by VF that has shakers inside the head.
