Ol fart gig !!

I quit playing my last gig in November and have been jonesing more and more so, after getting the yamahas and dialing in the e set well it's time to play !!! I put out some feelers about wanting to start or join a group and ....got a call Sunday been talking with Kent from a new group playing mainly contemporary christian with some classic/southern rock and maybe some country classic/new. Meeting with them this week for lunch and a short jam session. Sounds like what I am wanting to do...seasoned guys (you know old farts the beentheredonethats) , no pressure Top of the list is Worship and having FUNNN!!! more to come.....

Sounds great 2slow. I currently play in a christian praise band at my church and really enjoy it. What's even better..... is I've got my 13 yr. old son playing keys in the band now.

Excellent news 2slow - I know you've been looking for the right gig for quite awhile now, so I hope this works out really well for you!

And....pssst....my church kit is Yammys and they sound GREAT! Then again you know I'm not exactly brand loyal....if they sound good to me I'm an owner.
