Last nights drum circle

So.....Ive never had an opportunity to attend one and always wanted to . I just happened to come across one yesterday while searching the net at lunch time .

I decided to take the hour long drive , not knowing what to expect and figuring there would most likely be about 8 or 10 people .

To my surprise there were 50 people there and all types of hand drums from Djun Djun drums Djembe's and a huge variety of tambourines ,shakers blocks and bells .

The circle only got together for an hour , I arrived after they started and had to leave 10 minutes later to answer a phone call . But I can tell you that next time around Im getting there early and staying longer .

If you go to a rennaisance faire (I'm not usually the one to suggest those), they have a HUGE drum circle about the same you encountered. Lots of fun.

Wow Gonefishin, 50 that's alot of drums, must have sounded pretty cool! Kinda like a big rumba!

I am jealous, It has been years since I attended a circle, They have them up here out in the grasslands(about an hour away) but no one advertises it and that's to far to drive with the chance of no one being there. Glad to here you found one. F/T
