What else 'do you do'?

I was wondering (apart from dumming) what other hobbies and activities do you like to do participate in. I think this will be an interesting one!

So, I'll go first.
Apart from the drums i am interested in

. Photography - Just recently purchased my first DSLR, it's a Canon 1000d (cheap and cheerful)
. Cricket - Have played cricket now for a LONG time! i play for 3 teams, all mens (Good considering i'm only 15). I am the opening bowler, i can put it down about 80mph. Not too bad.
. Music - Besides the drums i play Guitar, Bass, Synthesiser and the Mandolin. Not great at any of them!

Unusual Hobbies welcome eg. Have you done somthing for a long time, collect a weird thing?
So post away with your 'out of drumming' activities !

Alex, I have had a number of "hobby" activities in my life - scuba diving, baseball/softball for most of my life, model trains, soccer referee, soccer coach, baseball coach, tennis, playing guitar and bass. At the present, I have had to narrow things down to the more musical pursuits, since it fits in better with my position as a pastor.

Used to do Taekwondo, But do to the time drumming takes up my only hobby is now banging the skins.

Alright just kidding. I've been writing short stories (and more recently they've gotten longer) ever since I was in kindergarten. Mostly science fiction type stuff. Hopefully one day I'll write something good enough to actually get published, but I think that's a long ways away

I enjoy hunting . I like to bass fish , fish for trout , like to go fishing for catfish , also enjoy salt water fishing for blues , sand sharks and flounder .

well during my life i have had some hobbies, apart from drumming i used to play basket ball on the top team of the schools in the city (seemed like a good idea when im a big fellow) that was all stopped when i got injured..

then for many years i have collected key rings, i have over 400 different ones all collected from trips and stuff...

i have played role master on and off for many years and still do....

the weirdest thing i collect must be old computers.. i have the attic filled with all sorts of old parts...

Cricket, i keep for 2 mens teams, the school team and under 15's (am 15)
Badminton, play for leconfield mens and juniors
(i wont bore you with teams anymore... )
Football
Hockey
Rugby

(am i bit sporty:P)

Like to chill with my mates and listen to music, that is when im not textin or playin sport :P

guitar,bass,keys,banjo,mandolin,ukulele and writing music/singing
Golf
metal detecting
artifact hunting
fossil hunting
Jeepin
camping
hiking
mountain biking
sailing
wooden boat restoration(have only helped out but desire to build my own)
R/C cars, planes
model trains
older racetracks(slot cars)
rafting,canoing
looking for a bargain at rumage sales
and I use to be a big camera nut
Carving staves and canes out of Black diamond willow
homemade rootbeer
and a little working out!

Im kinda like Fumbled. I like to experiment constantly. Right now I do everything I find interesting. My main interests are fishing, softball (sports in general) gaming (all platforms) computers are a huge part of my life, I also build webpages with spare time, additions to my home is a never ending project, gardening is lots of fun, lately ive been making home made ice cream, and home made goodies of all kinds. I was always kinda of a quite kid and never really had a whole lot of idea's. Ever since the military ive wanted to try anything no matter what the cost. Right now drumming has consumed my life. Camping is also another. But for the most part I just go with what each day brings me. Random thoughts are welcome. And every day is a new day. Family is my life and my whole life ill spend with family.

If this includes other interests, there's not really much else. fishing and playing Rock band on guitar and drums is about it aside from drumming. I'm going into my sophomore year of high school playing crash cymbals after becoming a tenor player at heart trying out and failing for both tenors and bass

But most of my life is simply a couple sticks and a reelfeel.

I also enjoy looking at cars I'd like to have.

I'm a.d.d. like Fumbled,ciulmer and CB. I go through phases and I'm constantly learning new things partial list:

SCUBA (open water PADI certified)
Flying (PP SEL certified) but I was going to school for commercial pilot, completed the ground school just not all of my flight time
Reef aquariums
Drums (obviously)
Rock Bands
Building choppers, not that OCC junk, I mean real choppers, take stock bike and chop it
Travel, mostly Caribbean/Mexico
Self Sustainability although right now all I do is grow some veggies, have abou 10 different types of fruit trees and raise chickens for meat/eggs
Guitar
Warcraft (dont do it or it will consume your life)
Building/repairing pc's
building and hosting websites
CGI animation (Maya rocks)
Sailing (ASA basic sail certified)
Motocross Bikes
Cooking

thats all i can think a the moment, my wife and I have a joke, I'll be really into something and it will totally consume my life then my wife says "dont worry, you'll find something new in 2 weeks"
