My primary crash would be my 18" Zildjian A Custom Fast Crash, but coming in a very close second would be my 16" Zildjian A Custom Crash.

I like how they get the job done, and then get out of the way.

My primary is a 15" Stagg DH Classic....just bought a couple of Stagg cymbals in the past couple of months.....I have found them to be rather pleasing to the ears (and the wallet)....they work out very well for now....

Paiste Signature 18" Full Crash or Sabian HHX 18" Evolution. I'm thinking of getting a 19" HHX-plosion crash for a main crash when I use my Sabians for louder shows.

My ZBT 16" Crash sounds brilliant, and my 18" ZBT stacked on my Sabian 18" Chinese signature is like my hi-hat from hell. I'd actually like another crash, but not a ZBT, besides, my 18" ZBT has a crack in it now.

    Lightbulb Phasing out of Crashes

What happened? Was it the lack of 'big sounds' that the usual crash (no matter what size) could offer?

Or is it the darkness of 20 rides...and their crashability?

i now mostly crash on my 20" zildjian planet z ride cymbal
and sometimes on open planet z hihat
when i started i used to crash on my 18" pearl crash ride
but i do not crash on it anymore now
from just listening to my old recording
my mother would point it out as
"that is the most ugly sound"
currently these 3 cymbal are what i been using
and do not have a real crash cymbal
