    Default Cymbal/ Multi-tom stands

So I'm thinking of getting a new stand for my toms so I can free up room on my bass drum for wood block/cowbell. I'll also need another cymbal stand if I want to buy my friends Sabian he's trying to get rid of. Should I invest in getting good stands or just find something that won't fall over?

    ~Cheers

    Thats so true.
The risk of buying a cheap stand is that either it doesnt hold the cymbal properly or it breaks.
Instead of possibly wasting money, buy decent hardware and you wont be running that risk.

Remember....You get what you pay for. Spend a little extra cash and get yourself something that will last.

So something like a TAMA or Gibraltar should do the trick right? Which company was it that had the stands that can hold 3-5 toms again? The one with two stands and a pole type thing between them?

I've been a fan of the Yamaha triple tom stands, which have a three-hole base. Pop a double-tom holder into one of the holes, and voila, two toms are held off one of the holes, and you have two more to use for cymbal arms, or whatever.

agreed +1 gibraltar makes good durable stands for that, just make sure its pretty beefy, those toms can be too heavy for a small stand when your beating on them.
