i feel like i just robbed this guy

i found an ad on craigslist for a
20" A ping ride
a pair of quick beat hats
and a 14" zbt crash

so i meet up with him and ended up paying him $240 for the ping, the hats, a steel pearl piccollo and a really nice tama snare stand

no joke i feel bad, but i couldn't pass this deal up ya know?

btw this is my first post, validation took fo'revah!
glad to finally be on a drum forum though, gettin tired of no one knowing what I'm talking about on guitar forums

Eh I wouldn't worry about it, that's just the beauty of used!

I got my setup you see below plus a couple other NICE cymbals for under $400.

BTW if any mods are lurking... I just had to agree to the code of conduct to reply which I've never had to do before (after signing up). Is there a problem?

idk what the issue was, tbh i forgot i had signed up till i got the email that i finally got validated. twas a nice surprise fo'sho though

forgot to add, the bottom hat is slightly bent, like maybe a 1/4" so they wont close
im using a zbt bottom right now, sounds nice and all but seriously now, i wants my quick beats right

how would i go about bending it just slightly?

Toss the edge of the cymbal between 2 pieces of wood (blocks) and work it with a hammer

Congrats on the great deal, and welcome to the forum! For me, validation didn't take that long here. On the other hand, I waited two or three months for validation from another forum...

Just so that everyone is clear, this happened because so many people were coming in and didn't know that there were forum rules & regulations to read. Mods were spending time having to delete stuff and then explaining why, so the administration decided to go with this. It's just easier when we all know what we're about here, and nobody has to worry that they don't know the rules.
