Well, the ZBT and B8's are both entry level cymbals

But from what ive seen, ZBT has more of that rock sound, you know the deep, smash

But i dont play B8 and i only have a ZBT crash ride and hi hats, so i dont know what to tell you

But right now i would suggest the ZBT's, jsut because their pretty good quality, and their deep, like rock cymbals

My son had the ZBT's. They weren't bad except for the china, which had the musical qualities of a thin cookie sheet (IMO).

honestly I would get the B8's, but you should go on the sabian and zildjian sites and go to their sound room and decide for yourself which ones you like better

no the sound room will give u somewat of an idea but every cymbol is different and they only choose the absolute best cymbals for the sound check, so u will need to check the cymbals for urself and buy the ones that sound the best to yu

What you need to do is ignore everybody's oponion HAHAHA
NO really tou need to decide for yourself by playing them. That's the only for-sure way that you will get the cymbals you want.

    Cool Your opinion!!!

I play a set of ZBT's, and they're good starter cymbals...but I agree with lhebs0 and amp...don't take the website's word for it...if you can find a drum shop that has both types, play them and see for yourself...uhh, should be hear for yourself!

Or if you have buddies with those set-ups, try their kits. What sounds like a cookie sheet to one drummer may sound better to another...but aren't China cymbals supposed to sound a bit "trashy?"
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!
