I thought it sounded fine. The vocals weren't too quiet to where you couldn't hear her. And I'm sure it sounded even better live.
Here's a video from Saturday the 15th of August. Our vocalist said people complained to her that she wasn't loud enough and insinuated "her band" wasn't up to par, that something sounded off, now these ofcourse came from non-musicians, but it still bothered me. Tell me honestly what you guys think.

JR, I think it had a feel like the vocalist wanted to be slightly more up tempo, so it gave it a feel like the band was dragging just a bit. I just think your vocalist needed to stay with her drummer - but then I'm prejudiced!

It wasn't bad at all..maybe dragged in 1 or 2 spots, but nothing horrible.
As was already mentioned, It probally sounded great live as opposed to video
You may be right about that, but I purposely try to play behind the beat, especially on a song like this. This is about the tempo of the original version and any faster would sound too rushed.
As far as her volume goes, I believe some of the problem is that our speakers are a bit muddy, giving the impression they are not loud enough, they are not clear. They are old and although they produce good bass response they lack the high end. We're going to have to invest in some new speakers, I think that will at least remedy that problem.
Sounded good to me, but I think maybe because it's such a vocals heavy song that she could have been a little louder. I think audiences generally want to hear the singer very prominently (although not at punk shows), so maybe you could find a way for the vocals to cut through the mix better. EQ maybe? It wasn't like you guys were too loud or anything, she just didn't punch through enough.
Then again, this is from the video, and not live so I could be completely wrong.

This song is meant to be played slow . I thought you did a great job at playing it. Singer was good and over all I thought it was well played. IMHO
Sounds fine to me, tell the people complaining next time you will make sure Stevie and Tom are there ;-)
I think it sounds really good, JR.
In terms of tempo, f it did drag in a spot or two, it wasn't by more than a smidge.
Darn good job.
