    Cool Re: sleepy..

mcramer, you're describing the classic symptoms of adult-onset diabetes...and that's one of many possibilities...but I'm not a doctor, and I've never played one on the radio!

Seriously, Russ, have you talked with your physician about it? It could be diabetes, but it could also be any number of other things...so have a checkup to rule them out. If it's merely boredom, try something different (practice to a different recording or try a different song)...

    Hope this helps, man...

Russ, the fact that you are having trouble staying awake would suggest that a check-up is in order just to rule out anything more serious than boredom. Check it out, and then see Drummer's post to spice things up.

in that case, i think you should take 5-hour-energy or something like greenmonster said just cause compared to energy drinks like monster and amp and redbull its not as bad for you and doesn't crash you when it wears off... its a cleaner/more efficient choice i believe

Red Bull would be the wise choice. It's not too sweet (Monster is waaaay to sweet and perfumey tasting for me).

Listen to some eighties pop power ballads! I don't know why but that always gets me nice and jazzed up.
