My PDP FS/Concept Birch kit with latest addition, a 16" floor tom. Thinking I'm gonna play around withhow I have it configured. Not taking away any drums per say, Just moving them around a bit.

Kit looks great. I don't know how you can alter your setup, much, though. It looks very comfortable as is. I like your cymbal choices, too.

Thanks GDM. I was thinking of shifting everything to the left, bringing the 14" up on top of the bassand maybe moving the 8" over above my popcorn snare (not positive I'll have room for the 8" between the 10" and the hi-hats not being home at the moment). Basically just play around and see if I find a setup I like better.
I run just about the exact same setup - number of toms, cymbals, placement. The only thing I found that really alters the setup in any meaningful way is to eliminate the 8" tom altogether. Then you have the room to move toms and cymbals around. I've tried many variations but I like having the 8 available so I always end up back with the arrangement you have in the picture.
Thank you sirs!!!
Love the side-by-side setup.
Proudly playing:
Doc Sweeney Drums
A bunch of snares
A bunch of cymbals
Off-Set double pedals
I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!
I want to post my kit but don't know how. I have already created an album and uploaded the photo but don't see how to post it here. Help please?
Enjoy the little things in life because one day you`ll look back and realize they were the big things.

These are my Tama Superstar Hyperdrive maples
I love this kit. The orange metallic is vibrant and goes well with the black nickel hardware.
This was at a recent rehearshal:

Very nice. All TAMA except for the "cat" maple.
