I've been really happy with this setup lately:
Last night.....(and the last three nights I guess too...) About 2 hours before we started. This venue is floating in the middle of a lake....in about 80 feet in the water. Ask me anything.

EddieV, does the barge ever float around when you play? Love the color of your pdp kit, what is your snare?
Mike
Eddie I LOVE that snare man!
It's actually a large building/facility that is anchored - but actually floats in the water near the end of the lake. It does move a bit. Often when we are playing you can see the hanging lights swinging back and forth. If you look out the windows and focus on a point you can see that you are moving up a down. After the place is closed, and all is quiet while we are tearing down, you can hear the creeking and moaning of the structure. Actually sounds really creepy - like you're on an old ghost ship or something.
That's not a PDP kit....it's a 2006 Mapex Pro M with an Ice Blue Fade finish. Not crazy about the finish....but I love the sound of the drums.
The snare is a Pearl 13"x8" Masters Custom Limited Edition Tamo Maple Power Piccolo Snare Drum. Only the outer layer is Tamo, which is an exotic Japanese Ash. I will NEVER sell it. I Love it to death and it sounds amazing whether it's tight or loose.

You're welcome. Glad to do it😆
Quick question...
You can see how the 8" tom is kinda hard to access. I was thinking of going unorthodox and putting it in between its two bigger brothers (rack toms). It does take from the visual and tonal sequencing being 10"-8"-12".
Do it?
There's a couple of big pies.
Nice cymbals, your bass drum looks tiny

My panoramic picture was a bit underdeveloped.
This one is a bit brighter even though a bit off center.

Oh wait, my other beloved Starclassic with Ludwig snares, (newest and oldest) based on "born on" date.
