A big hit back in the day. Had to be early '60's.

Right Now.... My Discovery Tunes on Spotify. A Very Nice Mix playing in my Mancave.
After rummaging through a container I had in my Garage for a long time...... over 20 years I think, I found about 70 LPs I had stored there which I forgot about? I started to bring them to life recently. Cleaning them Carefully before playing them for personal enjoyment. I hadn't realized that I had 3 or 4 Chuck Mangione LPs. WHOA NELLIE... I forgot How Good He Was and of course his bands. I'm thoroughly enjoying the sound. And surprisingly, the LPs weren't played to Death back in the day when I got them. I was a bit older when I got these LPs (in my 30s) and learned how to care for Vinyl - cleaning them before playing them! Some of the "real old LPs" which weren't so carefully handled or played on inferior equipment (i.e. A Space in Time by Ten Years After) are pretty much ruined![skps, crackling, etc] :(:(:(.
I enjoy hearing about people finding their old stash of records or collectibles. Too bad about your Ten Years After album. I actually sold many of my LP’s after I’d replaced them with cd’s. LP’s really do have a rich sound to them though. Cool find!
Awesome! ... Man, I came across 4 jazz albums the other day I forgot I owned:
- Miles Davis - Milestones w/Philly Joe Jones
- Max Roach - Four & More
- Charlie Byrd - Byrdland w/Bill Reichenbach
- Gene Krupa - The best of Gene Krupa
I don't know what kind of condition they're in nor do I have a turntable anymore so I'm not sure what to do with them.
here's one from the oldie's section that i would hear in the house a lot growing up.
