Yes! It's a place called Millenium Garden in Plymouth MN. It's so peaceful, they have like water falls, creeks, fountains, and it's all dimly lit with very peaceful world music. It's awesome!

I tend to play my the drums or (dare I say it?) even guitar. If I'm really feeling stressed, and need to get away from the church, I usually head for a music store and get lost for a while.

Funny you should say that PB because I often turn to the church. LOL ...or the Bible or other inspiring books that are "always" comforting. I do understand what you mean however as I'm sure you practically live at the church and deal with constant issues as a leader.

Other than that, my drum room. Playing my drums allows me to "escape" and I could play for hours. As drummers, we are very lucky to have our drums as a vehicle to help take our mind off of things.

I wondered if my response would make anyone raise an eyebrow. Yes, since I live eat and breath the church, God, and Bible, sometimes I have to get away from things of the church for a while. I never go anywhere that God is not with me, but every so often, the work of the church seems to have very little to do with God. That's when I have to get away for a little while.

    I have a couple hiding places ...........

I have a man-cave in my garage , Its a 12x10 rug with a seat , end table / lamp , coffee table and a fridge , and of coarse theres a phone and cable tv out there too ........it just wouldnt be a man-cave if it didnt .

I also have my drum room down stairs .

And my new spot is out in the front yard.........I live in the woods and right where the tree line meets the grass is where I put a 20x40 pond. Im gonna have a hammock on the back side . This is gonna be my fair weather hang-out ..........I dont think Mrs GF will ever think to look for me out there .
