I'm not a night owl normally, unless I get my second wind and then I can't go to sleep even if I want to .

I have to get qt least 8 hours each night or I just can't function correctly.
I call it my beauty sleep, but I assure you it doesn't make me look ANY better..hehehe..

I normally hit the sack around 9 because I get up at 5:30a.
    Take care and seeya!

Had I known how nice retirement is, I would have done it sooner.

Working with a new church usually means that you are doing an extraordinary amount of work in the beginning, so driving 1 1/2 for a one hour lesson each month got tough. I was giving up 4 hours each time I went for a lesson. Then gas prices kept going up, and I just had to quit.

On the other hand, the current church in Clarksville supports my musical talents, and I have had the opportunity to begin playing with a band, and even do a few shows. I have also discovered that as we add new songs, I am finding myself able to figure out how to play things that I have never studied, or practiced. I will always be grateful to Darla for what she taught me, and maybe one day I'll have a chance to study with her again.
Now that is real dedication, my friend! (Shows what you miss when you don't poke around all the threads, too!) Sounds to me Darla did a marvelous job!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

    Another Clarksvillian here!

It's cool to see a 3-page thread about this town.

I'm on the way out of the army and just closed on my house, so I'll be here for a long time. Let's jam!
