DW5002ADS Double pedal

Has anyone used, tried, or know anything about this pedal? I found it at a couple of on-line stores, but can't find a whole lot of info on them. Would really like a review but can't find any. The picture shows a single, but I found a double that I'm thinking about. Would heel-toe be easier (I'm a size 12 bigfoot) with this thing?

i dont see a second beater but it looks almost like a twin effect pedal. does the heel move down?

I think he's just showing a picture of a single but has a double in mind.

Yeah I have got the double pedal DW longboard. When I get a chance a little later (hopefully tomorrow) I will write up a review and post it. Been meaning to do it for a little while.

Right, this is a picture of a single from the DW site. The couple of places that I found which are selling a double (non twin effect) long board pedal doesn't show a picture with their ad. So you have this DW long board? How long have you had it, and is it holding up to the rocking motion that seems would be available? I live in Michigan's UP and have 3 Jim's music stores within 100 miles, none of which is going to carry a specialty pedal like this. Let me know. Thanks.

Yeah, unfortunatly no one has submitted a review on the longboard DW5000ADS or the 5002ADS that I can find, that's why I'm asking you guys. Isn't their ball bearing hinge mechanism right under the area where the heel pad would go? That is really the area that is of concern. Mechanically, that is the point of action that would take the most abuse, right?

Well, as far as failure goes, the DW line of pedals speak for themselves. Their almost an industry standard. I'm more concerned about this relatively new design with the long board. You don't actually have the long board one, right?

I do, and I can say so far no problems but have not had them that long ( about three months). They play great with heal toe or with standard heal up playing. Smooth as butter great adjustability. I am a size 12 shoe and this double pedal works great.
