Default Youtube channel that is helpful

So I found a youtube channel that does real world comparisons of drums, cymbals (and other musician's stuff). Pretty cool and helpful. Search youtube for gearguruz.

The one I listened to was a nice comparison of 13" wood snares.

Russ, I'm also hoping they add more, but check their actual website and you'll see a lot more videos. A really cool service.

On their site check out the 16" crash blind test. Can't wait to see which cymbal is which. I liked #1 the most.

the wierd thing is that they all sound different pitched than a regular 16 is; my ears might have been decieving me but the whole time it was sounding like a palette of notes rather than just one

Thats because the pitch of a cymbal has as much to do with its thickness as the diameter.

Awesome I'll go check it out! I remember seeing the 16" crash blind test before somewhere.
