    Default re wraping/laquer whatever

    so hey guys, I'm thinking of taking off my black wrap, and sanding, priming and then like a red or green laquer finish to it. I was wondering how do i go about doing this? i was told by a friend that u hold a hair dryer where the wrap overlaps for 20-30 seconds untill it bubbles, then peel it off? im not sure. please help.

    Also I need reply by end of tomorow (sunday) as im Australian, and i dont have the itnernet after then. sorry for spelling im in a hurry lol

    You are pretty much on track with the hair dryer. I would say to keep it on the drum until you can fill the wrap getting loose. Be very careful and go SLOW. You don't wont any of the wood to come off with the wrap. If you have an old putty knife you can gently use it to coax the wrap while you heat it.

    I wish you had access to the net because there is more you need to know about after you remove the wrap.
