    Default Amplification question

Hello Folks, I am a new owner of a Roland TD-4k and am looking into amplification. Basically the kit is strickly for home use, being housed in a small room ( approx 140 sq/ft), and I am not looking an overpowering amp system. Since I have just spent a pretty penny on the kit, I am not looking to spend more than $250 on a decent amp.

What are your thought on the Roland PM-01 ? I know it is designed for the HD-01 kit, but will it suffice for what I need? i saw one a local music store for $169, which budget wise certainly fits the bill.

    Thanks in advance.

There are a number of amps (new) in your price range that would be suitable for your needs.

Alesis transactive PA or transdrummer - street price is under $250

    Simmons DA50 - about $200

Look at keyboard or PA amps.

I own a Roland kit, but have read mediocre reviews of the PM01
