I really dig the System Blue line by promark. But while I was marching in OMB we used ScoJos, so I've been using those for the past several months.

They were one of my favorite pairs. Also internet shipping is like 5 days, 2 weeks max which still isn't bad considering you've been looking for them and haven't found a pair yet.

    I always liked a 2B stick ( nylon tip ) for marching.

Sometimes the cymbal player would hold out one for me to ride, I prefer the sound and response from the nylon tips.

When I was in the Auburn University Marching band and a member of the drum section we used Pro Mark 3S. Those were some heavy duty sticks.
We would have a stick party every Friday night before the games and sand, paint and tape our sticks. Auburn Drum Line!! Major SEC College Drum Line!! War Eagle!!! whoops, I get carried away sometimes with the college football and my alma matta.

I like a nice balanced hard wood 5B stick for the set.

I typically use two sizes 5A (upbeat staccato songs) and 5B (laid back groove) in Sound Percussion because they're cheap. Problem is that the 5As break to easily. I'm trying out the Vic Firth 85A (Amer Classic Hickory) and really liking it. Their balance is so much better and appears to be more solidly made.

I think we use those. Do they look kind of like short snare sticks?

Btw, I really like Scott Johnson Tenor sticks. Pro-mark tenor sticks are great for scrapes and crossovers.
