Over time the snare seats in the head creating a "tighter" buzz as long as you got the same head it'll just take time. Also replacing the snare couldn't hurt
ok so i put a new bottom head on my snare and and tuned my snare as i normally do. but for some reason now im getting this weird noise from my snare and its not like a overtone noise. im not quite sure what to do at this point because my snare did not sound like that before. any suggestions??

i fixed it lol called up a fellow drummer and i realized (like an idiot) that i wasnt tuning my heads nearly tight enough. sounds great now! thanks for info though!!

any idea how tight you made it, for a reference for other drummer with the same problem
well i started by finger tightening the lugs as much as i could get them. then i did bout 3 full turns per lug on each side (not all at once though) gradually till i got the sounds i was looking for. its pretty tight and you get a good bounce. thats the way i like it anyways but you dont have to have it quite that tight of course.
