Default New Head on My M Birch Snare!

Hey guys, well I thought it was about time I replaced my old battered Remo Emperor X head on my 14x5.5 Mapex M Birch Snare. The other day in college I noticed that one of their snares had a new head, so I naturally went and played it And found that the worst snare in the college had been turned into the best! So I went and bought the same head (Aquarian Texture Coated with Power Dot).....I have now fallen in love with my snare all over again! It sounds absolutely amazing, and after cranking up the side head half a notch, I got the sweetest sound ever! For now I only have this camera phone picture, but more better quality ones will be coming soon. Enjoy for now!

I use the regular Aquarian Texture Coated. My fav snare head. I find it has the sweetness of an Ambassador with the durable coating of a G1 and some extra attack thrown in for good measure.

I absolutely love moongels! I use one on boh of my snares, just to take off that little bit of resonance I don' want to, as you say, make my snare pop!

lol I forfot to resiz it in photobucket, and now the pictures already been linked, the resize wont stay. But yeah, it is a pretty awesome head. Bit thicker then an Ambassador I think, and it's such a nice compliment to my snare.
