    1st - he is in rehab for booze
    2nd - his set sucks majorly
    3rd - Thier bassist rocks, I have jammed with her.

    But, do we need to be worrying about surpassing them in terms of popularity and skill?

    popularity is rough everyone loves 'em, and nobody knows us...
    with skill, as far as I know drums are pretty much covered, but guitar and bass are tougher, when we're their age, if we're still goin' on. We might be able to take them, it's just that we (you and l. guitar mostly) have individual skill and we can't come together as one sound because we rarely have a full practice.

    Meh ... doesn't sound too hot to me. The bass is good, but it's a bit bog-standard rock really.

    Don't worry about any other bands, just do your own thing, you'll be sweet.

    If we keep going on the way we are by the time Dale and I graduate we should be all set for total, massive and complete ownage!!(of this chicken)

    Anyway, we WILL have some more stuff online this weekend!

    Just stick to what you're doing and do it as well as you can - that's all you can control. Be as professional as you can, especially when you play out and enjoy the fruits of a good reputation.
