    1st, the drums
    -DW collector series, 5 piece standard fusion sizes
    -cymbals are:
    -20" Zildjian ride, no label, 25+ years old,
    -18" Zildjian crash, 25+ years old, a converted 17" Sabian "Rocktagon" cymbal (used to have 8 sides like a stop sign, i didn't really like the cymbal so I made it round which helped
    -16" Zildjian "A" crash
    -14" Zildjian "Rock" hi hats, 25+ years old

    Recording equipment
    -Tascam 1641 USB audio interface- 8 mic inputs, 6 line in inputs
    -Adobe Audition software

    -Heil PR 48 kick drum mic on reso
    -Cad kick drum mic (the inexpensive one) on batter side
    -Shure SM 57 snare mic
    -3 Cad tom mics (the inexpensive ones)
    -Cad GXL3000 wide diaphragm condenser mic, used as overhead on HH side
    -Apex 435 wide diaphragm mic, used as overhead on ride side

    How do you like that interface? I am looking to get a new one and I use adobe audition as well.

    What i find is that once i start editing in multitrack mode, putting on effects, compression etc. it starts to bog down, so its not great that way. During recording though without effects etc. there is no latency issues. To solve my slowing down issues i just put it through my pci slot installed sound card, and do my on the fly editing that way.

    Listening to it right now. Nice foot work, and it sounds pretty good to me. Nice job!

    Thanks for all the comments everybody- it's just something I'm messing around with 'til I get back in another band and no longer have time to perfect that recording thing!
