looking for new ideas in set up.
Are there any web sites that show different drum and cymbal configurations.
im actually looking at moving my 12 tom on the left and my 14 on the right rather than both being on the right..just playing around to try different things..

On the Zildjian website they show different artists' configurations. This is mostly for cymbals but you can still see the drums. Otherwise, just look up drummers on Youtube and see what they've come up with.

The "Show us your Drums" thread is good for that too. Lots of different drum setups in there.

Yep, and the Bird's Eye thread is great for checking out cymbal configurations too.

Your look isn't as important as things you play, music and comfort in playing are most.

If you create something creative, show us :D

Your drums shouldn't have to follow any set config, just set it up as you find comfortable.

    look on the sabian website,
theres a kit builder on there with a load of artists ideas.
Or you could just play until you get the right feel, i find that this way is more fun lol. Remember where your power zones are for your larger cymbals as well
