I spotted a verve percussion snare at a pawn shop the other day. With stand. $60. It looks to be in very good shape. In fact, hardly used.

    Are they any good?

Hey I have a cheap verve kit and yeah the hardware really sucks big time..but these drums can be made to rock..I play hard heavy metal black sabbath Maiden type stuff on these cheap drums.. I had to redress the bearing edges because they had a dip very carefully with sandpaper then they tuned up like a dream put on new headand it was on lol.. I'll be upgrading soon and this kit will make some kid really happy.

yeah hope it's super cheap at the pawn shop and you mostly want it to just add to the collection. But being a snare drum with some good heads and tuning it could sound alright.
